Congregational Notices

Christmas Newsletter:  The cut-off date for all items to be with Frank Murray is 29th November.  It is planned to have them and FWO envelopes ready for collection on the following Sunday, 6th December. It would be of great help if items were in earlier than the cut-off date.  Thanking you in anticipation.  Frank Tel: 028 90832944   E-mail:  frankmurray615@btinternet.com

OPENING & CLOSING ROTA:  We have had considerable success in recruiting new helpers. If we had 4 more volunteers the rota would only involve a commitment of 2 Sundays in the year. So we are appealing for 4 more individuals to volunteer. We would very happy if some ladies would be willing to join the rota.

News from committee: At our recent meeting of committee we agreed that the last day of our financial year would be Sunday 27th December, donations received after this date will be included in our 2016 accounts.  Committee was gratified to learn that all our funds have received an increase in giving so far this year including the Missions Account which until now was lagging behind but with the inclusion of recent giving to United Appeal is now showing a 5% increase from last year. Well done.

PEW BIBLES: Our pew bibles have received new covers. Thanks to our anonymous donors who not only purchased the covers but also repaired the bibles and inserted the new covers.

The retiring collection on Remembrance Sunday for the Earl Haig Fund was £494.00.

THANK YOU: Gloria and Sebastian send there thanks for the purchase of a bathroom. See card on church noticeboard in Mosaic.
