Lights and decorations can be great reminders of the deeper and wider truth that we celebrate at Christmas. There is good news: God himself has come – God is with us, Immanuel. The impact of the good news is Joy – Joy for everyone. We all need more joy in our lives – and we find the deepest joy in the truth of Jesus’ birth that we celebrate at Christmas.
