Youth Fellowship

GLENGORMLEY PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH (GPY). Is for any young person of Secondary School Age who enjoys having fun, is keen to make friends, go to different places and experience new things and at times be serious about life and God. We run three regular events: "Out and About", "the Lounge" and "Ignite”

"OUT & ABOUT"

meets mainly on Saturday and Sunday nights(times to be arranged) to hear what is going on in other parts of the world, visit Christian events in Northern Ireland, meet other Church youth groups and generally have a good time.

"THE LOUNGE"

meets on Sunday nights (6.45pm - 8.15pm) presently at the manse, we eat (lots) play silly games, laugh a lot and invite a guest to have their say for 15 minutes.

"IGNITE"

meets on Friday nights (7pm)at the Church and is for those who want to get down and get serious about following Jesus, to pray together and study together and learn how to be disciples of Christ. The leader in charge is Jonathan (helped by Tommy, Elaine, Helen and Nathaniel) and this event takes place in his home.

Anyone of Secondary School age can join, we would be happy to meet up with you before hand so that we can make arrangements for you coming to your first event. We can also discuss with you if you want to involve yourself  in all the events or just some and also arrangements for you being dropped of and picked up.
