Sunday Club

Parents, are your children bored on Sunday mornings? Then the Sunday Club is an exciting place for them to be. It is for boys and girls between 4 – 11 years old and starts at 10.45 am and finishes at 12.15 pm. You can leave your child/children in the McKinley Hall and the leaders will ensure they have lots of fun learning about Jesus in many different ways. We have games, stories, drama, craft, singing and lots more!

There are three groups in the Sunday Club which are as follows:

Bubbles

This group is for boys and girls 4 to 5 years old. The leaders are Julie and Gail. The activities are especially designed for this age group and they have special magazine sheets to take home each week.

Splash

This group is for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years old. The leaders for this group are Vera and Jane. Lots of fun is had with material especially designed for them and they take home magazine sheets and collectable Bible cards.

X-Stream

This group is for boys and girls aged 9 to 11 years old. The leaders for this group are Maureen and Alan. The activities reflect the age of the children and they have magazine sheets and collectable Bible cards to take home with them too.

At the beginning of the Sunday Club we play games before going into church for a short time to sing and have a children’s talk. When we return to the McKinley Hall we have some more fun activities before we go into our different groups. We usually come together near the end before we go home. It is a fast moving programme so there is no time for boredom!
