Christmas in N. Ireland “Thank you to all of those who made my Christmas in Northern Ireland a wonderful experience! This truly has become my home away from home! In Christ, Nathaniel.”
THANKS We express our thanks for the anonymous donation of £50 placed on the offering plate last Sunday. As we are unsure of the donor’s wishes we are dividing this between our work of Home Bible Studies and the John Montgomery AIDS Foundation in South Africa. We hope this is acceptable to the kind donor. John & Jean Montgomery
Hospitality for Nathaniel Thanks to all of you who have welcomed Nathaniel into your homes – he has really appreciated your kindness. There is a new hospitality sheet on the vestibule table. Have a think about what week would suit you and please sign your name at a convenient date if you would like to invite him to your home. Many thanks again Lesley Bell
GO DEEP! In Spring 2010 Presbyterian Women is hosting a series of Roadshows to equip and enthuse Christian women to share their faith. The Roadshows use true life stories, readings, drama and music to convey the message that we are to go out into the world with the Good News. The aim is to ‘wake us and shake us’ so that we will open our ears to hear Christ’s call to witness, to open our mouths and speak of Him . The Roadshows are being held on various venues around Ireland. Our nearest ones are Church House on 27th February and Wellington, Ballymena on 20th March. They are Saturday mornings 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The invitation is to all women in the church. Places can be booked through Eileen Gordon, Sue McKinstry or Elsa Gilchrist and we would encourage women of all ages to go along to one of the Roadshows.
MEN TOGETHER: There will be a meeting of the Men Together Committee on Monday 1st February at 7.00 pm. in the Minister’s Room.
